I signed up for XFINITY Internet but when the technician got here to make the installation, he told me the modem could not get a signal. He opened up the wall outlet and saw that the antenna was not connected in the back or something so he connected it then tried again and the modem got a signal for a few seconds then lost it. The technician then said he needed to access our, "smart panel" and I told him I didn't have one so he couldn't complete the installation. I have looked everywhere in my house and can not find any "smart panel". XFINITY support has been no help at all so now I am wondering why isn't my antenna wall plug not working? I very much need to get rid of this crappy DSL that costs me so much every month. Does anyone know what's wrong?
Answers:
He obviously does not know what he is doing. They are all sub contractors and prolly did not want to spend the time. They are required to run a new line if needed. Call them back and *****!
