OK ever since I started using windows 7 my external hard drives have to power on and off literally three times before windows loads during startup. How come XP just kept the drives running during startup the only time they would shut off was when the computer would shut down completely? If you can figure out how to keep these drives from powering off so many times then your a smarter than me and I'm a PC specialist.

If the drives are powered by the computer's USB connection and not powered by an external adapter, then that's just how Windows 7 rolls. It does this with all USB connected devices – if you have a keyboard with a backlight it's quite noticeable. Brown was introduced to electronics by his father, who worked as a television and radio repair technician.[1] He began building his own amplifiers and would buy transformers from Tubby's Dromilly Road studio, and while there would keep asking Tubby to give him a chance at mixing. He was taken on at Tubby's as an assistant, performing tasks such as winding transformer coils, and began working as a mixer in the mid-1970s, initially creating dubs of reworked Studio One riddims for Don Mais' Roots Tradition label, given his chance when Prince Jammy cut short a mixing session for Mais because he was too tired to continue.[1] The first hit record that he mixed was Barrington Levy's "Collie Weed". His name originated from a joke between Tubby and Bunny Lee. Having noticed Brown's forward thinking ideas and technical aspirations, Tubby remarked "Damn, this little boy must be a scientist."[2] He left King Tubby's studio at the end of the 1970s and became the principal engineer for Channel One Studio when hired by the Hoo Kim brothers, giving him the chance to work on a 16-track mixing desk rather than the four tracks at Tubby's.[1][3] He came to prominence in the early 1980s and produced many albums, his mixes featuring on many releases in the first part of the decade.
Nicola Asked: Why does my Ignis CNFT 370 fridge freezer not work properly? freezer bit seems to over-freeze all th

Freezer over-freezes a few days after defrosting (shouldn't need defrosting as it is supposed to be frost free) and when the freezer over-freezes the fridge part stops working… I live in Cyprus and it only seems to have been doing this since the weather started getting really warm… landlord said to get a technician out to it but i know the previous tenants and they had a technician out who said that it was a known fault with this model so i don't see the point in getting another one out. I think it may be because of where the fridge is kept as it is sort of in a cupboard but doesn't have a cupboard door on the front.. I have just moved it out of there to see if this will help but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Marks Asked: How to become a successful IT technician?

Hi my name is Mark and I currently study at sixth form college doing my A levels in three subjects which are media studies, film studies and physical education. I always had passion for IT at home Im often the person who fixes parents and friends computers. In most cases I can find a problem and deal with it efficiently. I also learned how to reinstall windows operating system and install fresh copy of windows on pc's, laptops and netbooks. I am really into IT technical side I have taken my old computer apart replaced certain parts I have also built my computer system not that long ago which went very successful. The reason for not taking A level in ICT because it was primarily focusing on business side of IT which I am not into. I have decided not to go to university because I couldn't find a course that wouldperfectly suit meand now I am considering an apprenticeship in IT. I have done good amount of research on apprenticeships and there are plenty out there waiting for me to apply. I have finished school with 10 GCSES which I consider as good. I am seeking for an advice from who is reading this or who is IT technician. It would be beneficial for me if you could advise me what should I do with my situation, well my only choice is to go on apprenticeship. But I really dont know where to apply because there are thousands of companies around.(im in North West part of Britain) This is my last year at college, and I want to get into apprenticeship ASAP and I had a company in mind that I was going to apply to but unfortunately the company fell apart. The company name was Zenos which was primarily focusing on IT. So what should I undertake and what apprenticeship would suit me best, Im zero at programming, Im more of a problem solver, in computer problem faults and I also have passion for building computer systems and fixing them and installing software and reinstalling operating systems. Thanks for reading.

hirschi15 Asked: Can I get my money back?

I am a senior in high school and new this year, I received the option to take a pharmacy technician course online for $250. I thought this would be a perfect job during college! So I signed up and at first, this program was awesome. I loved the material (I love anything medical related) and was learning it quick, overall I was happy with my purchase. After about half way through the school year, I received a letter from the state I live in that said that the program I am participating in does not meet their standards and has been disapproved of. This made me angry, because I had spent four months of hard work and study on things that I did not need to know to become a pharmacy technician! It is not my fault that the state didn't review the program before they made me buy it, I paid for a program that would teach me what I needed to know and that is not what I received. Is there any chance I can get that $250 back that I wasted on a disapproved program? How should I go about doing this :/

She had, in the span of only a few years, lost her beloved mother, grandmother, and high school sweetheart. Hoping to find a way past her own troubles and the depression and panic attacks that quietly crippled her, she decided to raise money for school supplies for the children of war-torn Bosnia.
